The Soto Japan Heritage Center Hachioji Museum opened in April 2021 as a place where visitors can encounter the history and culture of Soto(Hachioji).
The center has a variety of exhibits to provide visitors with opportunities to learn about the stories of the Japan heritage and the history and culture of Hachioji.
We display historical materials related to the history and culture of Soto, such as excavated articles of Hachioji Castle Main Hall Ruins, Documents of Yakuoin, and Soto diary manuscripts, which are cultural properties that make up the story designated as a Japan heritage.
